Breaking the bondage of the past, ending the Cold War dicta that every sneeze in another nation requires our armed intervention and control, working for the poor and genuinely devoted to the stability of the middle class? Yup. Taking risks even when polls are down, people are deceived, life is hard, and threats are your constant companion. I'd say he lived what he said.
